CANON: Telltale's The Walking Dead
POINT IN CANON: just before meeting Javier in A New Frontier
AGE: 13
APPEARANCE:

CANON HISTORY:
Clementine @ The Walking Dead Wiki
Key decisions in Clem's past:
- she shot and killed Lee before he turned
- she killed Kenny and left with Jane and AJ
CANON PERSONALITY
Before the world fell apart, Clem was quite innocent, sweet, and cheerful. However, the last several years of her life have erased the girl she once was. Her intelligence, once turned toward school and books, is now focused purely on survival. She is very resourceful and has learned many tricks that help her survive, especially since she is smaller than most of the walkers (and humans) that regularly threaten her life.
Because of her age, Clem often meets people who underestimate her. These people generally find themselves on the receiving end of glares and sarcasm. She warms to people who treat her like an equal and will show a more sassy side of her, as well as making humorous remarks at the expense of others. She is still slow to completely open up though, as she has learned that most of the people she meets will inevitably end up dead. However, once someone wins her trust, they have it for life - even if that doesn't end up being a very long time.
In tough situations, Clem is able to quickly judge the possible options and is willing to make the tough choices, even if they involving lying, stealing, or cheating. And while she generally avoids it, she is willing to kill if she deems it necessary, especially if by killing she will protect someone she cares for.
Clementine is very protective of AJ and considers herself his mother, since she's been with him since he was born. Leaving him behind when New Frontier kicked her out was the most devastating thing that could have happened to her and made her lose a considerable amount of what remained of her faith in humanity. Now facing the world alone again, she is even more hesitant to trust or care about anyone else, while continuing to morn AJ's (supposed) death.
ABILITIES:
- excellent aim with a variety of firearms
- skilled in combat with a knife
- rudimentary first aid
INVENTORY: Worn and bloodstained clothes, a baseball hat, and a knife.
M A R K S;
JUSTIFICATION:
- Hermit: Clementine doesn't have a lot of faith in other people and so she prefers to be on her own. She is also wise beyond her years because of all that she has experienced.
- Justice: Clementine is willing to make the tough choices if necessary, because she knows indecision will get you killed. She is also quite clever and able to get out of tight spots.
- Judgment: Due to her age, Clementine is often seen as the hope for the future, though she doesn't usually share this feeling.

PROSE SAMPLE:
(FYI, this was initially written for a different game)
This was taking too long. Clementine took a deep breath, willing her heartbeat to steady. She hadn't seen anything or anyone out here except the group, so there was no reason to be worried. But there was also no reason for a simple supply run to be taking so long.
Clem stood up, stretching her legs and clutching her knife. She looked around again - nothing. That made the decision easy and she walked to the door of the convenience store.
She opened the door. "Hey," she called out, "what's the hold up?"
Silence. She walked further inside, peering into the darkness.
"Hello?"
Again, nothing. Somehow, the quiet was worse than screams.
She held her knife out before her and walked slowly. Her eyes eventually adjusted to the lack of light and she could see the shelves, some of which actually had some stuff left on them. But nothing moving, not the living or the dead. She could make out a door in the back, probably leading to an office or maybe the stock room. She walked towards it, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.
The door opened into darkness. And a strong smell that she recognized immediately: blood. "Hello?" she called out again. At first, nothing. And then there was low sound, a groan that was like a walker but also different.
Clementine stepped back quickly, then turned, but before she could run there was something grabbing her ankles. She tried to kick it off. When that didn't work, she stabbed down. When that didn't work, she went for her gun and turned. That's when she realized it wasn't a walker, it was the darkness itself. She shot all her bullets into it and still, nothing changed.
This was it. She knew it would happen one day but had hoped to run a bit longer, until AJ was older ...
"Clementine."
She turned towards the voice, even she didn't recognize it. Someone was there, holding out their hand. She reached out and took it and then everything melted away.
